Haymarket Elementary opened in the fall of 2014. Our school sits on a 24-acre wooded site near downtown Haymarket, Virginia. We have 45 classrooms, an activity room, media center, computer lab, and a science lab. Our mascot is the black bear and we are known as the CUBS (Creative Unique Brilliant Students). Listen to our ROARing Grrreat School Song:
We think our students are "The Worlds Greatest!" See what Excellence means to our students.

Tree Planting Ceremony
The first fifth grade graduates led by Muhammad Abdullah Usufzai, created a Founders' Garden. They started this garden by planting of a tree in celebration and as a memento of the first graduating class. The planted tree is called a "Cherry Autumnalis Blossom". It is a cherry blossom tree. What is unique about the tree is that the flowers on this tree sometimes bloom in the fall. The tree can be located outside the library by the benches for all to sit and enjoy. Each graduating class will decide how they will add to the garden. |
