As we navigate through this time together, here are some suggestions to keep current with skills and learning.  I will continue to update you through BLOOMZ, email and the class page. Please remember that the current situation is fluid, changing and being modified as needed and directed.

•           Bottle Project – This was a planned assignment and at this time, will be due on 4/14/20. The team is currently reviewing options to virtually share each students project with peers and teacher. More information to follow.
•           IXL Calendar – Assignments are listed in the resources folder of the 4th Grade Class Page. Students can always opt to do more review work in Math and Reading through IXL.
•           Math Review Packet - Review at your pace to maintain skills we worked on this year
•           VA Studies SOL Packet – Students have been working on this already and will see future assignments posted in the 4th Grade Class Page.
•           Reading – Please encourage your son/daughter to continue to read for 30+ minutes during the week. Their are online options that are on the HMES Technology Page and though information sent by Ms. King.
•           Writing – Students are encouraged to work on their writing.  Some suggestions would be to create a journal, write to each other respectfully though their pwcs email account, and complete weekly suggested assignments. The first 2 weeks are to write a poem using particular style in Wixie Accounts.  4th Grade Team Page in Resource Folder).

Stay healthy and try to remain calm and positive through these times.
